Self-fusing Silica Tape has so high strength and flexible properties that it is widely used in insulation industry such as pipes, hoses and cables. As it can work continuously under more than 1000 ℃ and temporarily up to 1650℃, it is also widely used in some high-temp industries such as metallurgy, electricity, coal to protect the worker, and the cable wire and hoses from burning.
Pressure sensitive adhesive backing is adopted by us to keep tightly covering the pipes, as the silica can break down at extremely high temperature.
Besides, silica tape is available with aluminized and silicone coatings.
